LinkedIn Group - Videoconferencing Professionals

Today we broke over 5,000 members. Officially we are the largest group in LinkedIn with a focus on videoconferencing and telepresence (more than double the size of the closest telepresence and HD conferencing group).

The discussions page continues to climb towards 100 discussions and we regularly see posts for jobs in our field, as well as well-qualified comrades in need of new employment.

The LinkedIn Videoconferencing Professionals Group has grown to more than 6,000 members globally.

Though recruiters are not allowed to join, there are regular job postings for jobs with resellers, manufacturers, and end-users. There are also postings by individuals looking to find a new career.

The discussions pages continue to be an active area of the group, and the new promotions tab allows members to place ads and event notices in a area dedicated for that purpose, so that the discussions zone remains spam-free and a destination that welcomes open collaboration.

Right on the heels of Polycom acquiring my company, Accordent Technologies, the LinkedIn Videoconferencing Professionals Group has exceeded 7,000 members globally.

Members continue to contribute to thoughtful and inquisitive discussions, and there are always new jobs being posted by our peers and a select group of recruiters and HR staffers.
