Wainhouse Research European Forum Set for Berlin

October 25, 2005, Brookline MA and Berlin - Wainhouse Research, is announcing a new event which responds to the growing demand by enterprises for reliable information and education about their options in conferencing, collaboration, and unified communications. The Wainhouse Research European Forum will bring the top enterprise IP conferencing and collaboration managers, videoconferencing deployers, meeting facilitators, and IT decision-makers together with the industry's leading innovators, vendors, service providers, and consultants. The Wainhouse Research European Forum will be held 19-20-21 April, 2006 at the Steigenberger Hotel in Berlin, Germany.

Wainhouse Research has partnered with the European Union-sponsored Augmented Multiparty Interaction Project (AMI) in the development of the 2006 conference program content. Scientists from AMI project institutions will be describing how they conduct research on meetings and the ways that their studies lead to innovative technologies to support enhanced human-human communications and accelerate business processes. In addition to offering a special day focusing on the future of meetings and technology, AMI project research prototypes will be featured and scientists will be discussing their work with conference attendees during the Forum's technology showcase on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

The focus of this year's Forum will be conferencing and collaboration tools for e-learning, government, telemedicine, and general business meetings. Industry analysts and collaboration end users will illustrate how leading-edge enterprises are using integrated audio, video, web, instant messaging, and IP telephony products and services to speed decision making, support global teams, and improve overall operations. Other experts will present on emerging issues and new solutions that have been proposed to address customer needs.

The three-day conference will also feature workshops, a technology showcase exhibit area, and ample networking opportunities with Wainhouse Research analysts, experienced and new end users, service providers, scientists, thought leaders and experts from many related fields.
