Wainhouse Research Launches World Wide Collaboration Summits

Program to explore next-generation enterprise solutions
and implementation strategies including IP Telephony,
enterprise workflow applications, and collaboration portals

October 4, 2006, Brookline, MA - Wainhouse Research is expanding its Collaboration Summit program to a worldwide venue in 2007. The WR Collaboration Summit is an internationally recognized forum and technology showcase that focuses on trends and user experiences with unified communications and has become the leading event for the conferencing and collaboration industry. After six years in Boston and two successful years in Berlin, Wainhouse Research is now adding a third program for Asia Pacific. The schedule for 2007 includes:
  • 14-16 February, Sydney, Australia
  • 23-25 April, Berlin, Germany
  • 5-7 June, San Francisco, USA
The WR Collaboration Summit embraces all rich media conferencing and collaboration tools, including audio, video, and web conferencing technologies as well as the integration of presence, IM, and unified messaging technologies. States Wainhouse Research Managing Partner Andrew W. Davis, "We are delighted to bring this event to a global audience and explore the way different solutions are being applied around the world." To help give the events local flavor and relevance, Wainhouse Research will be working with ServicePoint in Australia and MVC in Germany, two companies that are experienced in deploying conferencing solutions.

ServicePoint CEO Andrew Berriman said today his company was delighted to help bring such a prestigious event to Australia. "Australian organizations - particularly federal and state government departments and agencies - will find the WR Collaboration Summit an eye opening experience," he said.

The Collaboration Summit brings customers sharing their real-world experiences together with WR analysts speaking on key technology and market trends and thought leaders presenting their views on the future of collaboration and communications convergence.

"Many end users today are trying to understand how recent moves by IBM, Cisco, and Microsoft as well as those of Polycom, Tandberg, and Radvision will impact their future plans." adds Wainhouse Research Sr. Analyst and Partner Brent Kelly, "The presentations and discussions at the Collaboration Summit are centered on these unified communications issues."
