Can anyone tell me which companies are the most proficient in offering audio and IM across the same infrastructre?

I would also like to get a basic understanding of those that support SIP or H.323 and which support video conferencing over H.323

Any pointers or information on the industry as awhole or relating to the above topics gratefully received.

Also look at Microsoft with their LIve Communications Server. Probably early days but has the potential

Radvision offer a solution to enhance LCS by linking it to their SIP/H.323 infrastructure products called IMFirst.

The biggest constraint is the video capability of MS Messenger; 200K(ish) at best and only QCIF.

There are other SIP clients though such as France Telecom's EConf. It's a bit 'odd ball' but there are people out there developing better interface/functionality options, including inter-operation with Messenger.

Are you looking for IM integration with IP or PSTN/POTS audio ?? I'm also assuming CPE and not a service.

If IP, I'd add FVC to the list.

If PSTN, the combinations of Spectel/Bantu, Spectel/Lotus, Voyant/Polycom WebOffice, newcomer Imidio ....

You should look at two products, Centra and Interwise. I am in the middle of a webconferencing/VTC project and have been pleasantly suprised by what I have seen from these two products
