In WRB V3 #23, Andrew interviewed Bob McLean, President or R2R Communications, who had some interesting views on the state of the Internet and how a Multimedia Service Provider would be necessary to deliver effective online IP videoconferencing, streaming, and VoIP services.

Good discussion, it's clear that MPLS will eventually dominate carrier networks and be able to provide advanced services ( VPN, QOS, VoD, etc...) Question is with the current business model broken, how much more are customers willing to pay for these services such that SP's can actually once agin make money?
