I am assuming that "low" low end video such as Aethra's , Universal Industrial(Taiwan)'s, and NEC Engineering's may become a trigger in business video market.
Many months ago, I mentioned somewhere on this messageboard that the pricing for video is very important for wider deployment of video, but some other people on this messageboard and attendees in IMTC 2002 Geneva meeting opposed to the idea that the cost is not the issue for wider deployment of video.
I still believe that the cost is very important and it must be much lower.
Some people may not buy one even if the cost gets lower, but some other people may buy one as people say that cost of buying video is expensive even though they want to buy ones.
Market efforts by the abovementioned companies will be very interesting and we need to keep watching this segment of what I call "low" low end as oppsed to low end Viewstation SP and equivalent products(priced around 6,000USD in Japan on average).
These low low end products ranges 1500USD to 2200USD price range at least in Japan.

If people start buying these products that belong to low low end segment, it may have synergy effect affecting other low, mid, high end segments of the video market.
